The Ontario Association of Home Inspectors (OAHI) respects the privacy of its members and the users of our website (available at www.oahi.com) and other services.
Collection & Use of Personal Information
Membership Applications: To request details about a membership, we may collect your name, contact information (such as your address, phone number and e-mail address), language preference and payment information. We use this information to process your request. When you apply for a membership, we will also collect your education and insurance information. We use this information to assess and review your credentials for membership, maintain our relationship with you as a member and process the payment of your membership dues.

Events: To register for activities, such as group meetings, courses or continuing education events, we may collect your name and contact information (such as your address, phone number and e-mail address). We use this information to administer your participation in the event or activity. We may also use your contact information to send you information in connection with these activities. Complaints: To register complaints with OAHI, we collect your name, contact information (such as your address, phone number and e-mail), as well as the details of your complaint. We use this information to investigate the complaint and discipline members, if necessary.
Contact Us: If you contact us with a comment or question, you may be asked for information that identifies you (such as your name and e-mail address) along with additional information we need to help us promptly answer your question or respond to your comment. We may also retain this information to assist you in the future and to improve our services.
